R**esponsibilities**
- Select appropriate stain or mix stains using automated mixing equipment according to a pre-determined formula
- Should be familiar with post-cat lacquers and other solvent base related materials
- Have previous knowledge using airless spray systems.
- Clean and maintain painting and coating, ventilation, compressed air and personal protective equipment.
- Mark, record, and report defects.

**Requirements**:

- Must have previous experience with spray stains, wiping stains, solid colors (Including primer), and clear coats (sealer and lacquer)
- High quality attention to detail with a critical eye for identifying defects
- Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
- Effective verbal and listening communications skills.
- Time management skills.
- Commitment to quality and safety.
- Ability to readily determine the correct tools and equipment needed to do a job.
- Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule.
- Ability to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor.
- Knowledge of First Aid and CPR is an asset.

**Work Conditions**
- Ability to lift and carry objects up to 75 lbs.
- General Paint Room / Spray Room conditions.
- Interaction with management, colleagues, visitors, and customers.
- Fast paced manufacturing facility.
- Frequently noisy working environment.
- Overtime as required.
- Use of PPE, including safety glasses and steel toe boots required.
