Vape Production Lead

**Job Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead the concentrate and vape product development and production, ensuring a high product quality while striving for optimal efficiency.
- Operate and monitor concentrate and vape production equipment to conduct formulation and preparation for filling into hardware/packaging.
- Ensure consistent uptime of the equipment, by performing regular preventative maintenance/cleaning, and conducting mechanical repairs as needed.
- Maintain detailed batch records and support product traceability through internal record keeping systems.
- Conduct quality control checks, report deviations, and troubleshoot equipment or formulation issues.
- Coordinate with QA, packaging, and inventory teams to ensure production timelines are met.
- Ensure compliance with Health Canada regulations and internal SOPs. Train and mentor production team members on best practices and SOPs.
- Support product innovation and R&D initiatives in the concentrates and vape and category.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in cannabis concentrate/extract or vape production.
- Strong knowledge of cannabis extract, concentrate and vape types and processes.
- Familiarity with filling, lab formulation and packaging equipment assembly is essential.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Comfortable working with lab equipment, precision measurements, and temperature control systems.
- A collaborative mindset and passion for high-quality cannabis products.

**Nice to Have**
- Experience with inventory/production systems.
- Understanding of analytical testing and cannabinoid/terpene profiles.
- First Aid, WHMIS, or other safety certifications.
