Halifax, Canada Matrix Labour Leasing Ltd. Full time

Matrix is urgently hiring local Skilled Labourers for a long-term project in Halifax, NS. Overtime may be offered each week (but not guaranteed).

**Key Responsibilities**:

- General cleaning of shops, facilities, projects, and anywhere else needed.
- Help with setting up for specified work on a vessel or in the shop.
- Helping with care and preservation, performing fire watch and confined watch duties.
- Assisting in docking and undocking vessels.
- Surface preparation & Coating (i.e. Solvent Cleaning, Hand Tool Cleaning, Power Tool Cleaning, and Power Tool Cleaning to Bare Metal).
- Assisting others wherever assistance is needed.

**Requirements**:

- A pre-employment Government Security Clearance/background check will need to be completed.
- Full PPE+Fit Tested Respirator Mask.
- Grinder experience.

**Qualifications**:

- Fall Protection.
- WHMIS.
- Forklift Ticket (asset but not required).
- HSE Orientation.
- ISI Medium Voltage Cable Training.
- ISI Lockout Tage Training.
- ISI Security Orientation (In Person).
