Surveillance Investigator - Full-time (Moncton, New Brunswick)

The Surveillance Investigator position will involve the completion of assignments while gathering purposeful evidence/information in coordination with achieving client and Management goals, while doing so in compliance with the company’s systems, policies and procedures.
**Education**:
- Completion of Investigator training/course, diploma/degree in criminology; background in legal, and/or psychology an asset.
Professional/Technical Certification or Licenses:
- Possession of a valid Investigator license or willingness to obtain
- Possession of a Driver's license
- Reliable and suitable vehicle currently licensed for business/commercial purposes and a clean driving record
Job Knowledge or Work Experience:
- Two years of experience conducting mobile and foot surveillance for insurance claims and corporate investigations is an asset.
- Former law enforcement experience an asset
- Knowledge of all levels of the Canadian court system, criminal and civil code in Canada, insurance law, and privacy legislation an asset
- Prior experience working in a client focused environment
- Understanding of threat risk assessments and analytics
- Proficiency working with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Advanced report writing abilities
- Ability to collect, make use of, and disseminate available information in a timely manner to an appropriate audience for the purpose of addressing a specific requirement
- Possess patience and persistence ensuring quality services to our customers while managing conflicting demands from various divisions and managers; adjusts quickly to changing priorities and conditions
- Provides accurate information and creative solutions for customers while taking ownership of decisions.
- Ability to determine data’s source and reliability, as well as provide meaningful analysis
- Honor commitments and promises, maintain confidentiality and has high standards of integrity.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet demanding timelines; ability to multi-task while maintaining focus on the task at hand, handling multiple and sometimes conflicting yet strict deadlines
Environment/Work Conditions:
- While the incumbent must be team-oriented, it is imperative that he/she be self-sufficient and dedicated as the role of an investigator calls for much independence in the field.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours and days - evening, weekend, and holiday work will be required
- Fast paced environment
- Physical Demands: Hand writing, data entry, extended hours sitting, standing, walking, running, driving.
