Carlton House is an independent living senior’s residence in the Oak Bay Village. We provide a great hospitality service, and ensure a safe and healthy community, with all the comforts of home.

The Night House Person plays an important role at Carlton House, being the one to watch over the safety of the building and residents throughout the night, and ensure the common areas are cleaned and ready for the next day.

This is a part time weekend job which also includes Mondays every second week. The job is from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Because the Night House Person is the only staff member on duty during this time and on call for any emergencies, they are not permitted to leave the building during work. Therefore, they are compensated for a full 8-hour shift, while still receiving standard breaks onsite. This adds up to a bi-weekly total of 40 hours. Hours and schedule are guaranteed.
