**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Direct traffic flow around construction sites using appropriate hand signals and signage.
- Monitor and manage the movement of vehicles and pedestrians to ensure safety at all times.
- Communicate effectively with construction teams to coordinate activities and minimize disruptions.
- Set up and dismantle traffic control devices and signage such as cones, barriers, and signs as needed.
- Conduct regular inspections of traffic control setups to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Report any incidents or hazards to supervisors immediately.
- Assist in paving operations as required, demonstrating knowledge of heavy equipment operation when necessary.

**Requirements**:

- Valid Traffic Control Person certification
- Strong understanding of traffic control regulations and guidelines relevant to British Columbia.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey instructions clearly.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining safety standards.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform manual tasks as needed. Able to lift and carry traffic control equipment when necessary
- Ability to operate heavy equipment is a plus.
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong sense of responsibility
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel to different work sites.
