**Airside Groomer, with drivers license - Full Time (Day or Night Positions) Richmond, BC**

**Delta Facilities Maintenance, Inc.,** a private corporation dedicated in providing high quality Commercial Cleaning and Aircraft Grooming Services **is expanding**, and now is seeking to hire additional Airline Grooming Agent - Full-Time/ Part-Time on Day or Night Positions in our Airline Grooming Division in Vancouver, British Columbia.

**Position Scope**:
The Airline Groomer is responsible to deliver excellent customer service to our clients. The key position within our organization encounters a variety of situations throughout their shift and will be required to perform aircraft cabin cleaning. Must have valid Drivers license and must be willing to be train for DA-AVOP

**1. Airline Cabin Grooming Duties**

**A. Cabin Interior Cleaning**
- Clean and sanitize all passenger areas including:

- Seats, tray tables, armrests, seatbelts
- Overhead bins (exterior or interior depending upon requirement)
- Windows, bulkheads, passenger service units, monitors and cabin walls.
- Remove trash and waste from seat pockets, aisles, galleys, and lavatories
- Mop floors / vacuum carpets and spot-clean spills and stains as necessary
- Clean and disinfect lavatories; replenish supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, soap
- Organize and wipe down galley areas, including surfaces and compartments
- Replace used items such as headrest covers, pillows, blankets, and amenity kits (as required)
- Dispose and replenish In-Flight Materials as per airline specifications.
- Prepare or retrieve supplies from designated storage areas or the aircraft belly (cargo hold) in accordance with airline protocols.
- Complete all assigned tasks within the aircraft’s turnaround time.
- Follow detailed airline-specific grooming checklists and service level agreements (SLAs)
- Ensure waste is disposed of in accordance with hygiene and airport safety standards
- Report damage, lost and found items or any irregularities inside the cabin to the Team Lead
- Ensure accurate loading and unloading of supplies; maintain cleanliness of supply trolleys and storage areas.
- Ensure cleaning materials and tools are correctly handled, replenished and stored securely.
- Report low inventory, damaged items, or discrepancies to Leads.

**Biohazard Cleaning Duties**
- Safely identify and clean biological or hazardous materials such as blood, vomit, feces, or other bodily fluids in accordance with health and safety protocols.
- Use appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and cleaning agents designed for biohazard clean up.
- Dispose of contaminated materials safely and report incidents to supervisors as per reporting procedures.

**Safety, Security and Compliance**
- Follow all airport and airside safety regulations and procedures.
- Wear appropriate PPE and maintain personal hygiene
- Comply with all airlines, airport authority, and company SOPs
- Attend briefings and cooperate with inspections and audits
- Report any irregularities, safety hazards, or foreign object debris (FOD) immediately
- **Use and Care of Equipment and Vehicles**
- Operate cleaning equipment and company vehicles safely and responsibly, in accordance with company policies and airside regulations.
- Conduct routine checks before use, report faults or damage immediately, and ensure equipment and vehicles are cleaned, maintained and stored properly after use.

**Adherence to DFM Company Policies and Procedures**
- Follow all Delta Facilities Maintenance (DFM) company policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety protocols and quality standards.
- Maintain professionalism and integrity in line with company expectations.

**Reporting and Investigation Duties**
- Report hazards and near-miss events promptly to ensure preventive action can be taken.
- Report all accidents and incidents immediately and ensure required forms and documentation are completed and submitted in a timely manner.
- Cooperate fully with supervisors and safety personnel during incident investigations and provide accurate information as required.

**B. Safe Operation Of Aircraft Access Doors (With Training & Authorization)**
- Open and close designated aircraft panels, service doors, cargo bays as required for grooming tasks (e.g. waste disposal, water refilling, equipment access).
- Perform these tasks only after completing approved training and being authorized by the airline or ground service provider.
- Follow manufacturer and airline procedures to avoid damage to aircraft systems or components.
- Confirm all doors and panels are securely closed and latched after service is completed.

**C. Exterior Aircraft Cleaning/Washing (As applicable)**
- Attend mandatory training sessions related to aircraft exterior cleaning, safety procedures, and chemical handling.
- Perform scheduled washes of aircraft exteriors (wet washes, dry washes, and polishing as required).
- Use appropriate tools, equipment, and chemicals.
