**Part-time warehouse worker position(s) needed - early morning start**

**Do you like to work in a Warehouse Environment, Are you a hands on person? Do you like to have your afternoons available? We have the role for you We are looking for a part-time individual to join our team and assist with General Warehouse cleanliness and maintenance.**

**Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 5:00 am - 11:00 am**

**$17.00 per hour**
- Cardboard bailing
- Ensuring all cardboard is compacted or bailed before end of day
- Minimum 2 bundles per day if there is leftover or overflow of cardboard.
- Compacting and disposing of garbage from OFG property
- Clearing around and outside the Garbage compactor of loose debris.
- Dispersing includes sorting & placing all products accurately on the cart
- Labeling, pulling and pushing carts into dispersing line
- Cleaning up after auction including, sweeping, cleaning warehouse, set up carts for next day auction cardboard area
- Maintains safe and clean work environment
- Assist in other Warehouse duties as required by OFG such as Product Release, Auction assisting, etc

**Mandatory Qualification requirements**:

- Grade 12 Diploma
- Ability to speak and read in English
- Must be dependable and reliable
- Good communication, organizational, time management mathematical skills
- Accuracy of counting and transferring information on paper is critical

**Nice to have**:

- Knowledge in horticulture/ agriculture & floral industry
- Nice to have a car
- Able to lift up to 10 - 15 lbs
- 1-2 years previous warehouse experience preferred (but not required)

**Physical demands and complexity / Analyses and abilities**:

- Regularly required: lifting, pulling, pushing, standing, walking including moving objects 10-50 lbs
- Work in and out of the cooler (which is at 5 degrees Celsius)
- Work in an environment such as heated warehouse, concrete floor
- Ability to work in a fast paced and multicultural environment
- Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.

**Salary**: $17.00 per hour
