**Job Overview**

Coordinate and delegate the responsibilities of IT teams. Manage and oversee the day-to-day functions of the department and search for creative ways to elevate the capabilities of technology systems.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**:

- **Project Planning & Execution**:

- Lead the planning, implementation, and execution of IT-related projects according to predefined goals and objectives
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budget estimates, and ensure adherence to timelines and budgetary constraints.
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize potential disruptions.
- **Team Leadership & Collaboration**:

- Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including IT professionals, developers, architects, operational staff and clients, to ensure alignment and synergy across departments.
- Delegate tasks effectively and monitor team progress to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- **Resource Management**:

- Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and timelines, to optimize efficiency and productivity.

Identify resource requirements and make recommendations for resource acquisition or reallocation as needed.
- **Communication & Stakeholder Management**:

- Communicate project status, progress, and issues to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with organizational goals.
- Facilitate effective communication channels between project teams, stakeholders, and management to address concerns and resolve conflicts.
- Act as a primary point of contact for project-related inquiries and provide timely updates to all stakeholders.
- **Quality Assurance and Risk Management**:

- Ensure the quality of project deliverables through rigorous testing, review, and validation processes.
- Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, escalating issues as necessary to ensure timely resolution.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to assess outcomes, identify lessons learned, and implement improvements for future projects.

**CORE COMPETENCIES & ATTRIBUTES**:

- Strong management and people development skills
- Ability to develop and deliver projects using leading edge technologies
- Understanding of ITIL practices
- Ability to think logically and demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills

**EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience (at least 3 years) in IT project management or leadership role, with a successful track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices, such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate teams and build consensus among stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project, MS Azure for DevOps or JIRA.
- Solid technical background with a deep understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and software development lifecycle.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification is a plus.
- Timeliness is key, we are looking for someone who values punctuality as much as we do.
