**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supports the evolution of our Total Rewards programs by playing a key role in the research, design, administration and reporting of new and existing total rewards programs and initiatives.
- Works closely with the Partner, HR Operations to build out the Total Rewards strategy and 12-18 roadmaps along with the change and communication plans to support program and practice changes.
- Acts as internal consultant to the HR team and business. Provides guidance and advice on all things Total Rewards while ensuring policies and practices are applied consistently. Provides analysis and recommendations on topics such as pay trends, linkage of merit results to performance, incentive plan design, etc.
- Works closely with the HR team to provide compensation recommendations to support recruitment and promotion efforts taking into consideration internal equity and external competitive pay practices.
- Supports the communication and implementation of total reward program decisions with a focus on improving overall understanding and reinforcing credibility.
- Supports the annual year-end compensation cycles by maintaining compensation workbooks, identifying changes to enhance administrative processes, supporting leaders with any questions, and making recommendations on policies and processes.
- Participates in third-party surveys and completes benchmarking to assure competitive practices. Analyses survey data for all position levels, provides recommendations, identifies areas of risk or concern, and prepares salary survey data.
- Develops, monitors, updates, and communicates project schedules to track tasks, deadlines, and milestones.
- Develops and maintains strong, customer-focused relationships with all stakeholders.
- This role supports both Hazelview Properties and Hazelview Investments total rewards programs.

**Education & Experience**:

- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- 1-3 years of Total Rewards experience
- Previous experience with pay equity plans or job evaluation is considered an asset
- Strong working knowledge of employment laws and legislation across Canada
- HRIS experience, preferably UKG, is an asset
- Strong Microsoft Office (Excel, Work, PowerPoint, Outlook) skills
