**About Us**

The Ice Cream Scooper position is a valuable part of the Ice Cream team, which is responsible for providing the Gasoline Alley Farmers’ Market with a scoop of joy and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality are met. The Ice Cream Scooper is responsible for opening and/or closing the booth, cash handling, providing excellent customer service, product knowledge and selling retail products. This position reports to the Product Consumer Coordinator (Calgary) and will be required to work Friday and Saturday from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm and Sunday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

**What You’ll Do**
- Scooping and serving ice cream
- Selling retail products
- Educating customers on Foothills Creamery and our products
- Make ice cream floats, and other sweet treats as directed
- Communicate inventory levels for products and supplies required
- Manage payments for both cash and electronic sales
- Provide exceptional customer service by living our motto: _A Scoop of Joy_

**What You’ll Need**:
We require an applicant that has previous customer service experience and can work with others. Applicants must be willing to work Fridays/Weekends and are comfortable working independently in an upbeat environment. Additional requisites are as follows:

- Able to lift up to 25kg
- Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred
- Previous food handling is preferred
- Math skills are essential
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks and extended periods of standing
- Excellent communication skills

**Schedule**:
Market Hours
- Friday - 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Saturday - 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Sunday - 10:00 am to 4:00 pm

**Perks**:

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 22 per week
