We are the largest company in Atlantic Canada dedicated exclusively to material handling equipment; we have been providing our customers with high quality equipment, rentals, parts, training, and service since 1993. With branches located in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, we are looking for a **Shipper/Receiver**to join our **Moncton Branch.**
**Reporting to the Parts Specialist you will be responsible for**:
- Accepting and documenting packages and deliveries made to the branch.
- Preparing items for shipping, noting item contents, delivery methods and other logístical duties.
- Identifying and resolving shipping, storage or receiving discrepancies as they arise.
- Taking inventory, maintaining storage areas, organizing, placing stock on shelves, and documenting any changes in Prime’s EBS software program.
- Collaborating and communicating with those involved in shipment and receipt of merchandise
- Working in the parts department cover vacations and absences.
- Operating a forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport, and store merchandise.
**Skill Requirements**:
- 1-2 years’ experience working in a parts department.
- Ability to learn company software programs.
- Manage time effectively and ensure merchandise is shipped and received in a timely manner.
- Ability to relate to a diverse range of internal and external customers.
- Demonstrate an ability to understand the technical aspect of equipment and be able to assist with supplying the appropriate parts to customers.
- Ability to organize tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Ability to be flexible and focused on improving the customer’s needs.
- Ability to lift to 70 lbs.
