Dz Driver

**Responsibilities**:

- Safely and efficiently load and off-load trucks with materials to be delivered to job sites all over Ottawa Region
- Take action to avoid potential hazards and obstructions, such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers, and falling objects
- Comply with all Health & Safety regulations and policies
- Conduct daily circle checks on all equipment
- Advise Fleet Manager of any non-operational or unsafe equipment and plan alternate work to keep production schedule on track. Follow safe handling procedures for use of equipment and tools

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience operating similar equipment (preferably in an outdoor, construction or utility environment)
- Valid DZ driver's license (or equivalent) with a minimum 3 years of experience
- Experience in a range of equipment with the ability to adapt to new machinery
- Adaptability to quickly respond to changing demands
- Willingness to travel between sites, as required Knowledge of construction materials, concrete, aggregates, soils, processes and equipment (an asset)
