Harvest Moon Refinishingis seeking a Sanding and Finishing Technician to join our team in Edmonton, AB. This position is responsible for sanding and finishing all types of wood products including furniture, veneers, hardwoods, and laminate.

**Essential Duties**:
**Furniture Stripping A Must**
- Sand wood products to final finish using standard equipment (sanders, belt sander, polishers, hand tools, etc.)
- Perform sanding and finishing of laminate to specifications using standard equipment (ex. sanders, belt sander, polishers, hand tools, etc.)
- Perform sanding and finishing of hardwoods using standard equipment (ex. sanders, belt sander, polishers, hand tools, etc.)
- Perform sanding and finishing of softwoods using standard equipment (ex. sanders, belt sander, polishers, hand tools, etc.)
- Perform sanding and finishing of veneers using standard equipment (ex. sanders, belt sander, polishers, hand tools, etc.)
- Ensure that all work areas are clean and organized daily.
- Assist in the setup of workstations as needed.
- Assist in the setup of workstations as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

**Skills**:

- Ability to perform precise work with little supervision.
- Ability to read and follow written instructions accurately.
- Ability to maintain a high degree of attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week

**Salary**: $16.00-$19.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay
