**Student Counselor Job Description**

We are seeking a qualified Student Counselor with outstanding assessment and
- making with great organizational and motivational skills. In order to ensure success,
Student Counselor must be accessible and authentic with excellent communication
skills and a profound interest in helping students to exhibit their best behavior and attain
problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.

**Student Counselor Responsibilities**:

- Listen to students’ concerns about academic, emotional or social problems and

help students process their problems and plan goals and actions.
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to advise and assist students.
- Observe students in classroom settings and during recreational activities to

determine individual skills and identify potential emotional issues.
- Evaluate students’ attributes (KSAOs) and assist them in realizing their

objectives.
- Develop and implement counseling strategies with contemporary methods of

counseling and mentoring.
- Identify behavioral problems and act appropriately to remedy the situation.
- Pay attention to societal and cultural difference in all student matters.
- Cooperate with parents, academic staff and external partners.
- Conduct bullying prevention and rehabilitation Student Counselor Projects and Tasks. Deliver school-wide bullying program to students.
- Deliver school-wide Character Education program.
- Deliver school-wide SAM Support program.

**Student Counselor Requirements**:

- Bachelors degree in Counselling or related (essential).
- Two years of work experience as a counselor.
- Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Motivational leader who displays sounds judgment and attention to detail.
- Confident interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Perceptive intuition and decision-making skills.
- Remarkable professionalism and solid work ethic.
