Position Summary
The Yard Operator (Pole Framer/Yard Utility) is responsible for branding, framing, inspecting and preparing product for treatment.
This position is based in Galloway, BC.

**Responsibilities**:

- Inspects product for compliance to standards.
- Modifies products’ length or surface using chainsaw and wood wizard.
- Brand and tag product to specifications.
- Re-classify product as required and record re-classifications accurately.
- Safe and responsible operation of company equipment at all times.
- Clean-up of working area.
- Abides to workplace health and safety standards and regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications & Competencies**:

- Minimum of 1 year of related experience
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of utility pole and customer standards an asset
- Time and stress management
- Ability to perform the tasks without causing damage to product or equipment
- Ability to work independently and be flexible regarding work assignments
- Basic Math Skills
