**Job Overview**:
The Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the food and beverage department. This includes managing staff, ensuring high quality service, maintaining inventory, controlling costs, and implementing new strategies for improving the overall guest experience. This role requires strong leadership, excellent customer service, and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Staff Management**:
Recruit, train, and supervise the food and beverage team.
Scheduling of staff.
- **Food and beverage ordering and inventory & cost control**:
Monitor inventory levels and place orders for food, beverages, and supplies as needed.
Control costs by managing waste and ensuring efficient stock usage.
- **Quality Control**:
Ensure food and beverages are of the highest quality by conducting regular inspections of food preparation and presentation. Monitor cleanliness and hygiene standards in all food and beverage areas.
- **Compliance**:
Ensure all health, safety, and licensing regulations are followed in all areas of food and beverage service.
- **Event Coordination**:
Oversee the coordination of special events, private functions, and banquets, ensuring all food and beverage aspects run smoothly.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Smart Serve
- Food Hander Certification
- 3+ years of experience in food and beverage management, preferably in a similar setting (hotel, restaurant, resort, etc.).
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations, inventory control, and cost management.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards and regulations.

Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 44 per week

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:
