**Summary**
We are seeking a skilled Shop Technician to join our team at Banff Fire & Safety Ltd. This position will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing fire safety equipment, ensuring that our products meet the highest safety standards. The role is based in Banff, Alberta.
**Responsibilities**
- Diagnose and repair fire safety equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Assemble and test new equipment according to specifications.
- Perform electrical repairs and maintenance on various systems.
- Operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently as required.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.
**Requirements**:
- Proven mechanical skills with experience in repair and maintenance of industrial equipment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems related to fire safety equipment.
- Ability to assemble complex machinery and perform troubleshooting tasks.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is an asset.
- Basic welding skills are preferred but not mandatory.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
