**Job Summary**
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Parts Advisor / Service Writer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting customers with their automotive glass and other glass needs, ensuring they receive the correct components for their vehicles and projects. Your mechanical knowledge and experience in the automotive and glass industry will be essential in providing excellent service and support to both customers and technicians.

**Duties**
- Greet customers and assess their requirements with professionalism and courtesy.
- Utilize your knowledge to provide accurate information about parts and accessories.
- Process orders ensuring accuracy in selection and pricing.
- Assist in upselling additional products or services that may benefit the customer.
- Maintain an organized inventory of parts, ensuring stock levels are adequate.
- Collaborate with service technicians to identify required parts for repairs or maintenance tasks.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales and inventory movements.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and following up on orders.

**Experience**
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to automotive systems and components is an asset
- Proven sales experience with a focus on upselling products or services is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
- Experience in cash handling and maintaining financial accuracy is beneficial.
