Agropur is looking for a Maintenance Planner to join is Don Mills team. The Maintenance Planner will lead the planning, organization, and coordination of equipment maintenance, servicing, and repair activities across the plant. This role is instrumental in optimizing our preventive maintenance program, enhancing operational efficiency, and driving continuous improvement. He will collaborate closely with the maintenance supervisor, buyer, electromechanics team, and supervisors from other departments to ensure seamless execution of maintenance operations.

**What’s involved in this role**:
More specifically, the Don Mills Maintenance Planner’s responsibilities will include:

- Develop and organize maintenance schedules to optimize efficiency while adhering to quality, safety, and compliance standards.
- Identify and allocate the necessary resources for successful execution of scheduled interventions.
- Build and maintain systems for planning, scheduling, kitting, 5S, and other operational processes.
- Analyze maintenance history, identify deviations, and implement best practices for equipment reliability. Complete performance indicators and maintain comprehensive maintenance documentation.
- Participate in failure analysis and contribute to improving operations by implementing operational excellence programs and continuous improvement initiatives (AOS).
- Align maintenance priorities with operational needs while staying within the allocated budget.
- Manage the entire maintenance purchasing process, including inventory management, purchase orders, supplier relationships, and invoice tracking. Supervise the warehouse buyer for all component-related purchases.
- Ensure timely availability of parts required for preventive and corrective maintenance actions.
- Oversee the initiation of maintenance work, including managing work permits and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

**What you need to join our team**:

- Diploma in maintenance, electromechanics, mechanical engineering or other relevant training.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience in maintenance planning in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in maintenance management software (CMMS, SAP PM) is required.
