Peterbilt Southern Alberta has an opening for an entry level Warehouse Worker/Shipper for our Red Deer branch. Although experience is an asset, we are willing to train someone with the right mix of attitude and work ethic. This role may lead to a Parts Apprenticeship for someone who impresses.

The ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs., use stairs, and a clean driver’s abstract are a must.
- **Summary**:_

Reporting to the Parts Manager, the Warehouse Worker/Shipper is responsible for supporting daily Parts Department operations through warehousing, order picking, merchandising, shipping, and receiving, and occasional driving.
- **Duties and Responsibilities**:_
- Responsible for accurately receiving and shipping inbound/outbound orders including filling out waybills, customs documents, and using systems to record the transactions.
- Manage the organization and execution of fulfillment of merchandise and actively pursue opportunities to improve shipment accuracy.
- Inspect incoming shipments to ensure accuracy, inspects for damaged goods. Unload and receive parts, finished goods, and returned goods.
- Core organization and return product preparation
- Stage merchandise and mark appropriately for placement in facility.
- Ability to train and safely operate a forklift.
- Ensure the warehouse is maintained in a clean and organized fashion.
- Perform additional duties including occasional sales counter support, helping customers load order, or back up parts driver.
- **What we are looking for**:_
- Previous warehousing or shipping experience is an asset.
- CDK knowledge is an asset
- Knowledge of the parts trade and dealerships is an asset
- The ability to multi-task is important
- Clean drivers abstract

The individual should be able to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting all safety requirements. The work assigned must be completed correctly and in a timely manner.

Must be able to lift up-to 50 lbs. of weight and physically capable of meeting the demands of operating a forklift safely.

**This role will is a Monday to Friday role. Some Saturday shifts may be available.**

**CSA approved work boots required**

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
