**Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our food service operation, providing exceptional customer service while ensuring a clean and safe environment for our guests. Your ability to handle food safely and efficiently will contribute to a positive dining experience.

JOB DUTIES:

- Prepare, heat and finish cooking simple food items'
- Take customers' orders
- Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim food stuffs
- Portion and wrap foods
- Serve customers at counters or bu et tables
- Stock refrigerators and salad bars
- Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs
- Bring clean dishes, flatware and other items to serving areas and set tables
- Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and in serving areas
- Wash, peel and chop vegetables
- Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash
- Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas
- Sweep, wash, mop and polish floors
- Place dishes in storage area
- Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand
- Scour pots and pans
- Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts and waste disposal units
- Load bus pans and trays
- Keep records of the quantities of food used
- Handle and store cleaning products

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour
