**About the Role**:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lead Cleaner to join our team. The Lead Cleaner will be responsible for overseeing cleaning operations, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional service.

**Duties**
- Supervise and coordinate cleaning staff to ensure efficient operations and adherence to cleaning protocols.
- Perform a variety of cleaning services, which may include:

- Construction site clean-ups
- Move-in/move-out cleans
- Commercial office cleaning
- Residential deep cleans
- Floor waxing and care
- Carpet shampooing
- Window cleaning
- Other specialty cleaning projects as needed
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure cleanliness and compliance with health and safety standards.
- Communicate with management about job progress, staffing, and any issues on-site
- Train new cleaning staff on best practices, safety procedures, and proper use of cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules, ensuring all areas are maintained in a clean and orderly manner.
- Address any issues or concerns raised by staff or clients promptly and professionally.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years of commercial cleaning experience **(required)**:

- Minimum 2 years of leadership/supervisory experience **(required)**:

- Dependable, reliable, and professional attitude
- Flexible availability — most work is Monday to Friday (daytime), with occasional evenings and weekends
- Valid Manitoba driver’s license **(required)**:

- Must be fluent in **English**:

- Excellent communication and team leadership abilities
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to safety and quality
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
