Quarry Guillotine Operator

We are currently seeking a skilled Guillotine Operator to join our team. As a Guillotine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the guillotine machine to cut limestone armourstone to specifications.

**Responsibilities**:

- Set up and operate the guillotine machine to cut stone
- Read and interpret work orders, and specifications to determine cutting requirements
- Monitor the cutting process to ensure quality control standards are met
- Perform routine maintenance on the guillotine machine to keep it in optimal working condition
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards
- Operate loader or other material handling equipment to transport materials as needed
- Collaborate with other team members to optimize production efficiency

Qualifications:

- Previous experience operating a guillotine machine or similar cutting equipment is required
- Must have loader operating experience
- Ability to operate a loader
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and material handling procedures is beneficial
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality control checks
- Basic knowledge of guillotine machines is preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues with the guillotine machine

Wage to be determined during interview process

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Guillotine Operator: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Loader Operator Certification (preferred)
