Dog Groomer

Responsibilities:

- +1 year professional dog stylist and grooming experience and grooming license preferred
- Provide professional grooming services to a variety of dogs
- Perform grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, haircuts, and nail trims
- Ensure the safety and well-being of pets during the grooming process
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area
- Communicate with pet owners to understand their specific grooming requests and preferences
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or questions from pet owners

**Skills**:

- Strong customer service skills to interact with pet owners in a friendly and professional manner
- Ability to handle and restrain pets safely and securely during grooming procedures
- Knowledge of different grooming techniques and styles for various breeds of dogs
- Attention to detail to ensure precision in grooming tasks such as haircuts and nail trims
- Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting, as some pets may be large or require assistance during grooming

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $21.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Port Moody, BC V3H 0M2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Dog Grooming: 1 year (required)
