The Construction Manager will be a member of our construction team. Under the responsibility of the Construction General Manager, the Construction Manager will be responsible for ensuring that projects and all related processes run smoothly by effectively coordinating activities, resources, equipment, and information.
**Tasks**
- Participate to the project KICK-OFF Meeting and review and understand the project’s
- Participate in the development of the project ERECTION PLAN, SAFETY PLAN and QUALITY PLAN and contractual specifications and ensure that these documents are available on site and
- When a new project is awarded, review the existing work instructions in order to ensure they comply with the contract requirements and the applicable
- Define the specific procedures, methods, subcontracting needs and/or additional specific project’s

instructions that will be required for ensuring adequate erection progress, safety and conformity of the work.
- Plan, organize, and direct activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and
- Determine labor requirements and assigned and/or dispatch workers to the Superintendent and to construction
- Requisition supplies and materials to complete construction
- When changes notice is received, reviews the scope of the changes and evaluates the impact the work in
- progress.
- Oversee that the site team is taking care of the deficiencies issues reported by the
- Evaluate and select the specialized firms and subcontractors based on their ability to meet the contract requirements. Records the qualification and evaluation to the QUALIFICATION MATRIX - SPECIALIZED SERVICES and kept related documentation in the supplier
- Review the project FIELD DAILY REPORTS and WEEKLY SCHEDULE periodically
- Review periodically the progression of the works using the PROGRESS REPORT and ensure that the works stay in line with the project
- Notify the Construction Director of any delay in the progression or major issues impacting the
- Take actions to deal with the results of delays, bad weather, or emergencies at construction
- Ensure that the training program and the personnel qualification are adequately
- Ensure that operations, safety and quality records are well field, protected and stored in accordance with the internal
- Obtain all necessary permits and
- Other related tasks and duties as assigned.
**Responsabilities**
- Ensure review the projects requirements and monitor compliance with building and safety codes, and other regulations.
- Oversee and supervise the QA/QC, General Installations Operations, Health and Safety Teams
- Ensure that the Quality Management Program, Safety Program and Maintenance Program are adequately maintained.
- Ensure and monitor that the project schedule and progression and take proper actions to meet deadlines established.
- Ensure customers’ needs are met in a timely and cost effective
- Ensure that the interests of ADF are considered in all decision and actions.
