**Job Summary**

ARX Fencing & Logistics is seeking reliable, customer-focused individuals to join our growing team as **Gate Ambassadors/Special Event Staff** in the Ottawa area. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for guests at various events, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience while maintaining safety and compliance standards. This is an ideal opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in fast-paced environments and are passionate about customer service and event operations.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Greet and assist attendees at event entrances and exits.
- Manage gate access, wristband/ticket verification, and conduct coat checks.
- Act as parking attendants when required, ensuring orderly traffic flow.
- Communicate clearly with attendees and team members to provide event guidance.
- Enforce event rules and safety protocols as per client site procedures.
- Maintain a professional and approachable demeanor at all times.
- Adapt to various event roles as needed, including setup, tear-down, or logístical support.

**Qualifications**
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, energetic, and dependable with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work in a team and follow instructions under pressure.
- Must be available for flexible shifts including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Previous event or customer service experience is an asset but not required.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual, Seasonal
Contract length: 5 months

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 - 44 per week

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Holidays
- Weekends as needed
