**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Develop, implement and train employees on quality control systems and procedures.
- Monitor and analyze quality performance utilizing the knowledge & experience of PLIS (Agramkov) system.
- Inspect and test materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met.
- Collaborate with facility director to develop and implement controls and improvements.
- Investigate and troubleshoot product or production issues on a daily basis. Develop solutions and processes that minimize reoccurring issues.
- Conduct inspections and develop procedures for supplier parts. Work with purchasing and vendors to drive SCARs.
- Execute full cycle resolution process to resolve customer issues including root cause analysis, action planning, evaluation and monitoring.
- Create SOPs, Work instructions, Training Manual, Audit, Inspection criteria, Sample tests, and new product development.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to improve the quality of new or existing products.

**SKILLS/EXPERIENCE**:

- Post-secondary education in Mechanical/ Industrial/Quality Engineering or qualified in a relevant technical discipline.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is required.
- 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment in a similar position
- Professional Designation as a Quality Engineer (ASQ and/or CQE) is an asset
- Excellent computer literacy and ability to work with programs such as MS Word, Excel & Outlook.
- Knowledge in Pumps, HVAC, Heat Exchangers is preferred
- Outstanding presentation and communication skills with customers and suppliers
- Strong organization and prioritization skills
- Highly analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
- Previous Supervisory skills an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $30.00-$34.00 per hour

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
