Freelance Afar Interpreter- Remote

As a freelance interpreter on the MCIS roster, you will be required to interpret in community settings (such as hospitals, police, tribunal hearings, schools, etc) between English and/or Afar language.
We have an assignment that the schedule would be as follows**:Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 10:30 AM for check-ins, and 2:30 to 3:00 PM** for check-outs with the family. Additionally, we will need an interpreter for family meetings, which occur **every two weeks for one hour.**
**All assignments afterwards will be regularly self-assessed **as this will be a freelance position.
Soft skills include sensitivity and willingness to support the community by providing a service for vulnerable populations who have linguistic barriers.
**If this is your first time making an interpretation, we are providing free online training.**

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
