**Responsibilities**:

- Performs job responsibilities while fully and effectively participating in all relevant company programs, policies, procedures, and initiatives;
- Works closely with the Senior Detailers and Checkers on all aspects of a project.
- Identifies and reports any contract discrepancies and problems found to the appropriate superior;
- Models all facets of moderately complex structures and input standard and generic types of connection;
- Produces clear, accurate and well laid out erection drawings;
- Identifies and challenges connection design anomalies and inconsistencies;
- Edits most types of assemblies;
- Able to run and issue model generated reports and camdata.

**Qualifications**:

- 3 years' Experience in the use of Tekla Structures is required;
- A post-secondary diploma from a structural engineering drafting and technology course or an equivalent is preferred and a willingness to study further;
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the Structural Steel Construction Industry.
- A good understanding of technical structural drafting terminology is required;
- Working knowledge and understanding of fabrication and assembly processes;
- Have a good understanding of welding symbols and procedures;
- Must be proficient in the use of a computer and ‘Office’ software;
- Ability and willingness to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment;
