**Job Description**:
Located in Montreal West Island, in Pointe-Claire, our plant is looking for **a Paint Line Supervisor** to join our amazing team. The position requires to supervise 24 to 30 employees on rotating shifts and achieve factory goals by effectively coordinating the workforce, working jointly with other production supervisors, and complying with health and safety policies and regulations.

Permanent full-time position. Excellent working conditions, competitive compensation, group insurance plan, pension plan. Free parking is available.

**Responsibilities**:
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
**Supervision**
- Plan work and distribute tasks to employees
- Completion and approval of payroll timesheets
- Ensure the use of PPE and zero tolerance for hazardous work methods
- Collaborate with HR to address employee requests
- Manage equipment and human resources according to the stages of a continuous process

**Performance management**
- Report daily department results at daily meetings
- Identification of corrective actions: By consulting stakeholders, reflect on and implement corrective actions.
- Find out from stakeholders about priorities and needs in the plant. o Based on the needs expressed by stakeholders, coordinate the production of painted and cut rolls.
- Collaborate with the maintenance supervisor to do preventive maintenance and repair of machines
- Give appropriate feedback to employees
- Participate in the continuous improvement process and recognize opportunities.
- Make sure to respect the budgets in place
- Provide training on occupational health and safety on a monthly basis
- Perform health and safety audits

**Administration**
- Produce or complete the necessary administrative forms: HR, quality management, etc. o
- Complete the daily results tables
- Production of reports: excel, percentages, pareto analysis, etc.

**Quality management**
- Report quality issues to the quality department.
- Collaborate with the quality manager to investigate quality problems and implement corrective actions

**Qualifications**:
**Technical**
- Technical in industrial engineering or mechanical engineering, an asset
- 3 to 5 years of experience in the manufacturing environment as a supervisor
- Technical knowledge in industrial mechanics and / or electromechanics and instrumentation, an asset
- Experience in a unionized environment, an asset

**Languages**:

- Bilingual (French, English)

**Computer skills**
- Office Suite, especially Excel

**Behavioral / physical / mental effort**
- High level of stress, constant, results oriented environment
- No major physical exertion other than walking
- Myers-Briggs: Extraversion (E), Sensing (S), Thinking (T), Perceiving (P)
