**JOB SUMMARY**:
The Product Quality Specialist assesses both internal and external quality performance through systems and process evaluations, to determine improvement opportunities regarding quality within manufacturing operations and help drive change.

**JOB TASKS**:

- Assist with Customer complaints/investigations/corrective action to determine solutions Analyze quality manufacturing data trends and solutions.
- Lead and perform Quality investigations, determine root cause, corrective, and preventive actions.
- Generate detailed, comprehensive reports.
- Collaborate with all manufacturing departments, providing technical support, follow-up and implement solutions.
- Prepare solutions for inspection process failures.
- Evaluate Inspection equipment, methods/techniques and make recommendations for standardization Create consistency in inspection methods.
- Prepare/ assist with Quality related Kaizens.
- Collaborate with process planning.
- Assist with new products for customers introductions to eliminate defects.
- Provide Quality training as required.
- Collaborate with Quality orientation training.
- Performs other duties as required by the Manager.

**COMPETENCIES**:

- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software programs Must have excellent leadership skills.
- Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must have good time-management and organizational skills; able to multi-task effectively Must have a demonstrated strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy; detail oriented.
- Must have demonstrated good interpersonal skills (people skills) Must have strong problem-solving skills.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Complete testing per WI 6.2.1.2 — General Hiring Practice Guidelines
- Secondary school (high school) diploma

**PREFERRED**:

- Industrial Engineering Technology diploma or three (3) years related experience.
- Working knowledge of quality system requirements and SQF standards
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Project management experience.
- Superior knowledge of SAP.
