**Position**:Men’s Locker Room Attendant
**Department**: Clubhouse
**Reports to**:Facilities Manager
**Job Summary**:
To provide all members and invited guests at the Hamilton Golf and Country Club with excellent service and maintain the Clubhouse Building and locker room area to the highest possible standards.
Locker Room:
- Spread hospitality and goodwill amongst all members and guests.
- Always keep entire locker room area in a neat and orderly manner.
- Clean and organize the washroom, and showers in the locker room area
- Communicate with Pro Shop on a regular basis for updates and changes to daily play.
- Prepare all members’ and guests’ lockers on a daily basis; clean and prepare name allocations for guest lockers.
- Escort all guests to their designated locker.
- Change members and guests spikes when requested; keep note in logbook and give to Reception for accurate billing.
- Keep an accurate stock of products and replenish on a daily basis. (E.g., water, juice, razors). Report needs to the Facility Manager weekly.
- Keep towels in full supply and work together with laundry room for towel drop-off and pick-up.
- Receive special orders, alterations and other merchandise from Pro Shop and place in member’s lockers.
- Maintain membership information board to ensure it is kept up to date.
- Always keep work area neat and clean.
- Clean and polish shoes as required
- Ensure shoes are in member’s or guest’s locker when polish is dry.
- Assist in organizing a lost and found area and record lost articles in logbook. Give a report to Pro Shop.
Clubhouse:
- May be asked, from time to time, to assist with cleaning or other assigned duties in various areas of the clubhouse.
**Locker Room Checklist**:
Opening:
- Check-in with pro shop and get a copy of the daily tee sheet.
- Ensure entire locker area is ready for members and guests:
- Neat and orderly manner,
- Lockers have been assigned - guest lockers with names
- Supplies are replenished
Interim:
- Greet all members and guests in a friendly manner.
- Escort all guests to their designated locker for the day.
- Communicate with pro shop and back shop on a regular basis and update daily play and prepare lockers, as necessary.
- Change member and guest spikes when requested
- Clean and polish shoes for members and guests
- Place clean golf shoes back in member’s locker drawer and dress shoes in front facing out.
- Continuously check all supplies every half hour and replenish when necessary.
- Keep towels in full supply and replenish when required.
- Communicate with food and beverage and notify of any reservations
- Receive special orders, alterations and other merchandise from pro shop and place in member’s lockers.
- Bag used towels and take to laundry for cleaning twice a day at 12:00 and 8:00 pm.
- Always keep work area neat and clean.
- Record all lost items and report to pro shop.
- Empty garbage on a regular basis.
- Vacuum locker when needed.
Closing:
- Prepare lockers for following day play.
- Clean all washrooms and showers.
- Vacuum locker room area.
- Finish all shoe cleaning and place shoes in member’s locker.
- Bag all used towels for next day cleaning.
- Empty garbage.
- Collect dirty towels from the washroom and showers.
- Re-stock all towels so the locker room is ready for the next morning
**Job Type**: Part-time
**Salary**: $15.00 per hour
