**Summary**:
Reporting to the Distribution Manager, the incumbent will work to maintain the flow of imported products moving to support trade objectives, minimize costs and delays. He will have to work in collaboration with different departments, internal customers, suppliers, carriers, and custom brokers.

**Key activities**:

- Coordinate container arrival activities.
- Track containers (traceability) and update arrival dates in our systems.
- Manage empty/loaded containers.
- Manage freight delivery to distribution centers, transloading distribution centers and external warehouses.
- Collaborate with distribution centers to minimize the impact on their operations while ensuring the continuous movement of containers.
- Control the costs of transportation, storage, demurrage, detention, etc.
- Document the justification of ancillary costs.
- Provide inbound container volume forecasts by destination.
- Validates invoices, document coding, and approval requests.
- Identify opportunities to optimize our operations and improve our agility.
- Support purchasing and receiving teams.
- Develop and maintain relationships with all departments/business partners to promote information exchange.

**Education and experiences required**:

- AEC international trade import/export - AEC transport management and logistics or other equivalent training.
- 5 to 7 years experience in a similar position.
- Good knowledge of the shipping container industry, customs and international documentation processing (essential).
- CITT (CCLP), CIFFA CCS or CTCS certification (an asset).

- French/English bilingualism oral and written (essential).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate and good interpersonal skills.
- Excellent management of priorities and time.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
