Drone Operator

**About the Role**

We are seeking a **Drone Operator** to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for a certified drone pilot who knows how to make a wedding look like a cinematic love story and turn a branded event into a social media sensation.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Operate drones in compliance with **Transport Canada** regulations (Basic or Advanced RPAS license required).
- Complete all pre-flight checks and post-flight maintenance to ensure operational safety.
- Capture high-quality aerial photos and video footage to be used in **wedding highlight films, corporate content, branded recaps, and promotional videos**.
- Work with our internal creative and event teams to plan strategic flight paths based on event layouts.
- Collaborate with photographers, videographers, and on-site event hosts to ensure seamless content integration.
- Organize and upload footage; basic editing capabilities are considered a strong asset.
- Maintain detailed flight logs, weather conditions, and equipment maintenance records.
- Keep up-to-date with advancements in drone tech and safety standards.
- Valid **RPAS (Remotely Piloted Aircraft System) Certification** - Basic or Advanced (Advanced preferred).
- Skilled drone pilot with event-based content experience (DJI drone experience preferred).
- Background in **aerial cinematography**, event photography, or social content creation.
- Familiarity with editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut) a bonus.
- Technically inclined and capable of performing light repairs or troubleshooting.
- Strong communication and coordination skills for fast-paced, live event environments.
- Bonus: Experience with GIS or mapping software for layout visualization or planning.
