Us Sales Tax Analyst

Abbotsford, Canada Onboarding Direct Full time

**Duties include**:

- Assisting with data gathering for international tax returns and audit response
- Conducting tax account reconciliations
- Proposing and preparing journal entries
- Preparing GST/HST and VAT returns
- Assisting with posting accruals
- Carrying out ad-hoc research
- Assist with transfer pricing calculations and filing
- Coordinating with external auditors
- Generating financial reports
- Monitoring tax requests and other ongoing compliance

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or equivalent
- CPA in progress or recent completion of CPA an asset
- Previous experience working with corporate tax
- Advanced proficiency with MS Excel
- Ability to work independently as well collaboratively in a team environment
- An interest in conducting tax research and digging deep to find answers and solutions to complex problems
