Livestock Labourer

**Responsibilities**
- Observing cattle for signs of illness or injury, administering medications as needed, and reporting any significant health issues to supervisors.
- Ensuring cattle have access to clean water by maintaining water sources.
- Cleaning and maintaining feedlot infrastructure like pens, fences, feed bunks, and roadways.
- Operating machinery such as tractors, loaders, and skid steers for tasks like feeding, moving materials, and maintaining the feedlot.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment by picking up trash, removing manure, and ensuring the overall cleanliness of the feedlot.
- May participate in activities like processing, reimplanting, branding, sorting, and preparing cattle for transportation.
- Adhering to all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for themselves and other employees.

**Requirements**:

- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the day.
- Experience or willingness to learn how to operate farm machinery.
- Experience or aptitude for working with cattle, including feeding, monitoring, and handling.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing tasks as needed.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team are crucial for success in this role.
- Valid driver's license

Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
