**Position Title**: Group Collections and Commissions Specialist

**Reports To**: Manager, Group Collection and Commissions

**Department**: Group

**Term**: Permanent Full-Time

**Work Arrangements**: This is a hybrid role. You will work in our office in Waterloo, ON a minimum of two (2) assigned, consecutive days every other week, plus a fifth (5th) assigned day per month. You are welcome to work from the office more than the minimum requirement and there may be some roles that are required to work in our office more than the minimum requirement.

**The Opportunity**: Equitable is growing We are looking for a Group Collections andCommissions Specialist to join our Group Actuarial team

The Specialist is responsible for completing Group Collection and Group Commission activities. We are a busy team, so multi-tasking, a high level of accuracy and attention to detail are a must along with your focus on efficiency. **What you will be doing**:

- Various Premium Collection and Advisor Payout Tasks, including:

- Incoming payment processing
- Billing
- Processing transactions on our administration system
- Working with various departments and resolving customer inquiries
- Contribute to bank and premium reconciliations
- Advisor payout processing
- Supporting workload management for overall Group Collections and Commissions team

**What you will bring**:

- Self motivated and strives for continuous improvement
- Post secondary education
- Minimum 2 years of collections and commissions processing related insurance industry experience
- Strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
- Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to prepare MS Excel based numeric reconciliations and Pivots
