Position Summary:_

Please note that this is a 12 - month contract with the possibility of extension.

Schedule: This position follows a Sunday to Thursday work week. Hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM on Sundays, and 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM from Monday to Thursday. This is a hybrid role, 4 days in office.

- Essential Functions:_- Collaborates with other departments to meet all customer needs, internal reporting and customer record keeping.- Participates in general sales meetings, promotions and facilitates food show registration. Assists with recall and other information sharing as required.-
- Stays up to date with product offerings, market trends and customer needs while learning about the organizational offerings and systems.- Demonstrates strong customer service skills when dealing with unique or difficult situations.- Provides support to sales representatives coordinating customer service, orders, credits etc. during special large special events IE: Stampede, PNE, SNE, F1 Race etc.- Supports and assists DSR for vacation coverage and seasonally based on needs.- Provides routing assistance for changes to deliveries such as time delays, adjustments in delivery days, etc.- Details customer complaints, tracks the same issues that multiple customers have, and reports problems as necessary.- Performs Other Duties as assigned.
- Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:_- Must have good customer service and time management skills.- Ability to perform 10-key data entry- Must have excellent written, verbal, organizational and communication skills.- Highly organized with a great attention to detail- Encourages collaboration with others to achieve a common goal- A self starter that can work independently as well as part of a team.-
- Excellent computer skills- Must have the ability to multi-task, prioritize and be able to work independently or within a team environment.- Ability to learn and use Genysis, Powersell, CRM, Gordon Ordering and other various systems
- Equipment / Tools / Technology:_- Laptop computer- Telephone and headset- Home Wifi Needed while working remotely.- Networked printer/copier/facsimile machine- Google Apps (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Drive, Sites, Groups)- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)Gordon Food Service Systems such as CRM, Gordon Ordering and Inventory management.
- Education & Minimum Experience Requirements_- High School Diploma (or equivalent) plus 2 years full-time related work experience required- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or related field preferred- Previous Experience in the area of food service industry is preferred
