Stena Drilling is delighted to be commencing operations offshore Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada for an anticipated five (5) month drilling campaign onboard the Stena IceMAX Drillship. There are currently temporary opportunities for 4 Toolpushers, working on a 28/28 on/off rotation. **Business Address**:701-10 Fort William Place, St. John's, NL, A1C 1K4 **Wage**: $97.84 CAD per hour **Benefits**:Dental, Life, Medical, Vision, and where applicable, Offshore Allowance. **Job Duties**: - Control all Drilling Operations and other interrelated activities being performed during their shift in a safe and efficient manner. - Responsible for all the essential drilling operations, such as drilling, reaming, coring, fishing, running casing, tubing, cementing. - Ensure the drilling operations are carried out as defined in the approved Operator's Instructions and Drilling Program, and the operation is executed in accordance with Stena's Drilling Operation Manual and RSWMs and where applicable any agreements made in the Bridging Document. - Report directly to the Senior Toolpusher any deviations from approved Operator's Instructions or Drilling Programme. - Helps all subcontractor companies to run their jobs and maintain a good cooperation. - Manage and monitor the execution of the Planned Maintenance System within the Drilling Department. - Ensuring that all maintenance carried out on drilling equipment has been entered into the TAG system. - Maintain the tubular inventory. - Prepare Drilling Reports. - Check instructions, programmes and calculations supplied by Operator. - Provide cover for the Driller as required. - Supervise the running and retrieving of all subsea equipment. - Advise the Senior Toolpusher of any impending downtime. - Ensure Drillers are familiar with space-out and shut-in procedure. - Check the accuracy of kick sheets and monitor trip sheets. - Allocate tasks to Driller and provide adequate supervision in order to ensure that all such tasks are carried out in a safe and efficient manner. - Responsible and accountable for the safety of the personnel working under their direction and shall be expected to conduct operations at all times in full compliance with company procedures (SMS). - Identify and address any violations of procedures concerning personnel under their direction. - Continuous or repeated violations of policies or procedures should be highlighted and brought to the attention of the HoD/Master-OIM. - Comply with the Management of Change Principle. - Actively participate in accident/incident investigations when required. - If allocated to an MPD capable vessel (full MPD system installed); - Be fully aware of all MPD policies and procedures. - Plan and Monitor the progress of MPD operations and control all associated work in a safe manner as defined in the MPD drilling program. - Track and record all 3rd Party costs associated with MPD operations. **Skills, Education, and Experience**: - Previous experience as Toolpusher - Previous experience on similar installation, with ram rig and duel activity operations - Proven experience with a Schlumberger Deepwater MPD operation including its hardware and control system - 18 years relative experience - Competent in personnel management - Canadian BST/R - Regulatory Awareness - H2S Alive - WHMIS 2015 - Suit Fit & Face Fit - Canadian Emergency First Aid, CPR & Defibrillator - Seafarers Book - Proficiency in Designated Security Duties / Awareness - IWCF Well Control - L4 Supervisor - High Pressure Testing - Rigging & Lifting - LOLER Supervisor - Maximo - Drilling Riser Analysis - Harsh Environment LMRP - MPD Equipment, Principles & Procedures - MPD Practical - Cyberbase Training - Driller Level - Mobile Elevated Work Platform/Cherry Picker (Onboard) - Height - Work at Height and Harness Equip User - Unit 2 (Onboard) - Height - Use of Rescue Equipment - Unit 3 (onboard) - Canadian Rigger (onboard) - Fall Protection (onboard) - Confined Space Entry (onboard) - Fluent in English, including reading and writing **How to Apply** Please note that only Canadian citizens or Canadian Permanent Residents will be considered, no exceptions.
