Position Responsibilities
Ownership of the assigned Sourcing Category, including but not limited to establishing / managing/ negotiating/ executing contractual agreements, Vendor Onboarding & Due Diligence Process and Vendor Governance throughout the Vendor Lifecycle.
Ensure contracts align with governance, legal and regulatory requirements.
Conduct analyses of existing vendor base to assess capability of meeting business objectives; balancing vendor concentration risks with vendor consolidation strategies.
Execute on Strategic Sourcing Strategies, manage the e-sourcing activities using eSourcing tool and play an integral role in ongoing supplier governance, ensuring that appropriate savings is achieved through the life of contractual agreements
Support Accountable Executives in the Vendor Performance Management and evaluate operational issues and considerations in contract enforcement.
Arbitrate claims or complaints occurring under the performance of contracts. Anticipate contract issues and manages risk regarding legal issues.
Deliver on Procurement Strategy, increase procurement brand awareness and ensure consistent messaging
Priming major contract negotiations, strategic sourcing activities, cross functional projects, risk and relationship management, and savings initiatives
Provide guidance and insight on Procurement and Vendor Management best practices and provide counsel to business to ensure supplier arrangements meet HTC Procurement, Outsourcing and Vendor Management Guideline and regulatory requirements
Foster strong collaborative relationships at all levels within HTC, and vendor management community
Optimizing our transformational delivery model to maximize impact for HTC, including coaching and mentoring of team members across the organization
Formal Education
Post secondary degree or diploma required (University degree preferred)
Certification(s)/Designation(s) required
Related Experience
Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline or CPSM / CSCP designation.
Related experience in the field with a proven track record of success
3-5 years in a sourcing, contracts and vendor management role
Solid expertise using Microsoft Office, Power BI, Visio, SharePoint.
Familiarity with eSourcing Tools, ServiceNow workflow and Panorays - automated Third-Party management tool is an asset
