As the Manager, Foundry and Youth Housing, you will guide a team of 15-20 employees who deliver integrated programs that empower youth through accessible health and wellness services and inclusive housing. This unique role requires you to “wear two hats,” balancing the priorities and values of Community Services as a host agency to the Foundry provincial initiative.

You’ll be at the heart of critical conversations and decisions, participating in frequent meetings with both organizations. Your leadership will be grounded in the values of equity, collaboration, and community connection—ensuring that every action and decision reflects the mission, vision and values of Community Services.

You will oversee daily operations and strategic guidance for Foundry Ridge-Meadows and our Youth Housing program, supporting youth facing complex challenges such as mental health, substance use, harm reduction, sexual health, gender identity, and belonging. Your approach will be trauma-informed, strengths-focused, culturally responsive, and rooted in a sense of urgency and belonging.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**

**Leadership & Accountability**
- Lead a team of 15-20 employees in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating a strong sense of urgency and adaptability
- Balance dual-agency responsibilities, ensuring alignment with both Foundry and Community Services’ missions and values
- Drive service planning, innovation, and quality improvement in line with the Foundry model and Community Services’ vision
- Oversee budgeting and resource allocation with transparency and accountability

**Program Oversight & Evaluation**
- Ensure programs meet and exceed funder and agency standards
- Build and maintain partnerships that enhance care, access, and outcomes for youth
- Lead evaluation efforts grounded in data, lived experience, and ongoing learning

**Clinical & Practice Leadership**
- In collaboration with the Clinical Lead, support Counsellors to grow in confidence, scope, and impact
- Champion reflective practice and professional development that centers around youth needs and voice
- Navigate complex social issues including harm reduction, substance use, sexual health, gender identity and belonging

**People & Culture**
- Cultivate a culture of psychological safety, equity, and authentic leadership
- Guide recruitment, onboarding, supervision, and staff development rooted in strengths-based and inclusive practices
- Model transparency, feedback, and mutual accountability at all levels of the team

**Administration & Compliance**
- Uphold organizational policies, privacy legislation, and accreditation standards
- Oversee occupational health and safety practices that prioritize wellbeing
- Ensure administrative systems are timely, accurate, and aligned with collective agreements
- Manage a high volume of meetings and communications with both Foundry and Community Services.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

**Education & Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in social work or a related human services field (master’s degree is an asset)
- Minimum of five years progressive experience in youth/family services, paired with 3+ years of managerial experience, ideally within a clinical or social services setting
- Experience with trauma-informed practice, systems navigation, mental health, and housing services
- Experience managing teams in fast-paced, multi-agency environments is a strong asset

- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and maintain a sense of urgency
- Knowledge of best practices in harm reduction, youth engagement, and integrated service delivery
- Comfort and competence in addressing social issues such as substance use, sexual health, gender identity, and belonging
- Ability to lead within diverse, intersectional contexts and across systems of care
- Strong organizational, communication, and team-building skills

**Employment Status -** Regular Full-time, Exempt

**Salary Range -**$95,000 to $105,000
