Reporting to the Director, Viticulture the Manager, Grower Relations will liaise with the Arterra grower portfolio, acting as a point of contact between the winery and the growers. Maintain strong relationships between the winegrowers and the winemakers. Match the grape supply to volume and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Work with winemaking and growers to allocate premium, sparkling, and icewine blocks. Ensure the quality and tier of fruit in the vineyards matches company requirements through vineyard visits. Work with Grower Relations Specialist to manage grower information.
- Work with internal partners and growers to ensure long-term grape requirements will be met. Source required grapes, oversee existing contracts, and create new contracts with growers to secure required grapes. Release grapes that are no longer desired by the winery and work with growers to replace plantings, where possible.
- Support Winemaking teams in all harvest activities. Attend daily planning meetings and coordinate daily deliveries. Coordinate all grape sampling activities throughout harvest. Complete weekly and seasonal harvest summaries. Process, audit, and approve all grower payments, including regular grape purchases, and bonuses for sparkling and premium grapes.
- Collaborate with other departments to find opportunities that may arise through the collection and exchange of data business intelligence and marketing intelligence. Including knowledge of world grape and wine pricing and knowledge of the local vine industry.

**Qualifications**:
Education
- College Diploma, Bachelor of Science, or relevant work experience
- Bachelor of Science in Viticulture and Oenology, Plant Physiology, Agriculture, or related field, or Diploma in Viticulture and Oenology

Experience
- 3-5 years of related experience
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Experience using JDE

Qualifications, Certifications or Designations
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to use Microsoft Office
- First Aid

Supervision
- Direct: 1

Titles of Direct Reports
- Grower Relations Specialist

Working Conditions
- Must be able to work extended hours during harvest season. Ability to work outdoors in hot or cold weather.
