**Position profile**
Reporting to our Director of Aircraft Maintenance (DOM), you will be responsible for ensuring that ACASS’s managed aircraft fleet is compliant, adequately maintained, and safe for flight. This role is also responsible for planning and coordinating maintenance activities, liaising with service centers and OEMs, ensuring the scope of work is accurate and services are performed in compliance with CAA requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Plan and manage scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
- Review technical documentation to ensure compliance with government, company, and customer policies.
- Support the DOM with continuing airworthiness management tasks.
- Perform post-maintenance work audits in accordance with applicable regulations and maintain a safety culture.
- Update Maintenance Tracking Systems and keep maintenance records current.
- Maintain constant project awareness and ensure maintenance activities are properly planned.
- Supervise maintenance events.
- Act as a liaison with other teams and provide updates on the fleet’s maintenance status.
- Review and approve service center quotes, purchase orders, and invoices.
- Maintain strong relationships with service centers, vendors, OEMs, crew, and stakeholders.
- Manage and validate aircraft part procurement.
- Support and collaborate with other team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
**Qualifications and Skills**
- A dynamic, personable, resourceful, and organized aviation professional capable of managing multiple projects and tight deadlines.
- Technically proficient on corporate aircraft maintenance and safety regulatory requirements.
- A critical thinker with the ability to solve maintenance issues, as well as evaluate, interpret, and explain technical information to others in a simple way.
- A service-oriented team player with excellent customer focus (internal/external) and work ethic.
- Flexible to changing priorities and able to maintain a calm demeanor in high-stress situations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite software with strong English writing skills.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 2 years of experience coordinating airworthiness activities and planning aircraft maintenance events.
- College/CEGEP degree is a minimum requirement. Licensed Aircraft Engineer and/or University degree in Aviation Maintenance, Aeronautics, or Aviation Management is highly preferred.
- Experience in the private/business aviation industry is highly preferred.
- Excellent English written and communication skills are a must.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-changing, high-pressure environment.
- Flexibility to provide on-call support and work after-hours/on weekends to accommodate international time zones and project demands as needed.
- Valid passport and willingness to occasionally travel on short notice.
- Ability to lift and move file boxes (approximately 30-40 lbs.)
- Legally allowed to work in Canada.
