- Assess extent of injuries or illness of trauma victims to determine emergency medical treatment
- Administer pre-hospital emergency care
- Document and record nature of injuries and treatment provided
- Administer first-aid and other assistance
- Organize, activities such as games and outings for children
- Escort groups on outdoor sport and recreational trips
- Administer first aid in emergency situations
- Monitor recreational, sports or fitness activities to ensure safety and provide emergency or first aid assistance when required
- Perform other duties related to patient care and comfort
