About this role

We are recruiting for a **Project Manager/Estimator** to join our Construction group in **Burnaby,** focused on Commercial, Institutional, and Residential projects.

The Project Manager/Estimator is responsible to lead all aspects of the job. This includes the estimating, project planning, labour management, procurement, billing, communications, and wrap up of each project.

**Your responsibilities**
- Work with clients and identify potential business opportunities
- Estimate projects and submit tenders
- Review contracts for onerous clauses and conditions
- Maintain good relationship with suppliers, consultants, general contractors and end users
- Manage project financials (including billing), purchasing, schedules and labour
- Mitigate project risk, deficiencies and estimate changes as needed
- Work with internal stakeholders, field staff and customers, to ensure projects remain on track, on budget and meet expectations
- Be present on jobsites when required and review project upon completion to discuss success and challenges
- Review the project at completion with the foreman and superintendent to discuss successes and challenges

**Your experience and skills**
- Electrical trade certificate, Electrical Engineering degree or Electrical Technologist diploma/certificate
- 2 years' experience in Electrical Project Management and/or Estimating
- Previous experience with estimating programs, specifically Accubid (Accubid Pro and Change Order) an asset
- Good computer skills including MS Office, Procore, AutoCAD ZOOM, etc.
- Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
- Strong communication and team working skills
