Rubber Tire Excavator Operator

**Job Overview**
**Duties**
- Operate rubber tire excavator and other heavy equipment to perform excavation tasks.
- Execute site preparation activities such as digging trenches, grading land, and paving surfaces.
- Knowledge and experience with overhead obstacles such as powerlines.
- Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors and other on site contractors to ensure work is completed according to specifications and timelines.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery on construction sites.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and report any issues or concerns to management.
**Qualifications**
- Minimum 2 years proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with excavators, backhoes, and loaders.
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- A valid driver's license is required. Class 1 and/or 3 would be an asset.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
