**Summary**
The Porter is focused on achieving maximum customer satisfaction and develops collaborative relationships with customers to develop profitable and amicable long-term relationships.
The Porter is responsible the timely and safe transportation of dealership customers to or from their indicated location (e.g. home, office, etc.). The Porter maintains relevant documentation and ensures that the shuttle vehicle is in optimal operating condition, including interior and exterior cleanliness.
The Porter is a self-starter and strives to be a conscientious and courteous representative of the dealership. The Porter pays a high level of attention to the details by ensuring all relevant documentation and related paperwork or computer entries have been correctly and fully completed.
**The Details**
**Develop strong relationships with customer**
- Greet customers as they arrive and create a warm, welcoming first impression.
- Provide general information to walk-in customers and answer inquiries.
- Sensitive to customer needs and flexible/adaptable in performing duties with a customer driven focus
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers on the shuttle roster
- Transport passengers irrespective of weather, traffic and road conditions in a safe, respectful and professional manner.
**Be detailed oriented**
- Moving cars between the dealership’s display area, workshop and the pick-up point.
- Driving and handling all cars responsibly to ensure damage prevention, and protecting dealership property at all times.
- Ensuring the cleanliness of the interiors and exteriors of cars on the lot.
- Maintain a clean and professional reception area.
- Providing assistance with keeping the lot clean and tidy at all times.
**Develop collaborative relationships**
- General maintenance and errands as required. Driving off-site to run dealership errands when required.
- Assist with paperwork, filing, and data entry.
- Support sales and service staff with daily administrative needs.
**Commit to the Dealership Brand**
- Stay up-to-date on the dealership training programs.
- Be knowledgeable about new features, specials and updates.
- Be a champion for delivering excellent service at all times.
- Actively maintain the cleanliness of personal and team workspaces.
- Maintain a professional appearance.
**Health and Safety Responsibilities**
- Report any problems, shortages, non-conformances, unsafe or substandard conditions, accidents, incidents and /or existing Hazards to the Supervisor.
- Work safely in accordance with the Stouffville Toyota Health and Safety policy and programs.
- Use or wear PPE and clothing that the legislation or Stouffville Toyota requires.
- Perform pre-use inspections on equipment (when required) and conduct work safely.
- Request any additional duties from the Supervisor as time permits.
- Report any plant or machine supply shortages or required purchases to the Supervisor.
- Comply with all machine and plant safety requirements and work in a safe and responsible fashion regarding himself/herself, to others, and to the equipment.

**Education & Experience**
- Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Automotive experience would be an asset.
- Available to work evening and weekend shifts as scheduled.
- Valid G Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract
