Friends of Ruby is dedicated to supporting the well-being of 2SLGBTQIA+ youth aged 16-29 through mental health services, social programs, and housing. We operate a **Youth Drop-In Centre**, offering barrier-free counselling, hot meals, and community programming, and a **Transitional**Home**, providing emergency and long-term housing with life-skills support.

If you're passionate about creating safe, inclusive spaces for marginalized youth, **this is your chance to make an impact as a Digital Media Coordinator**

**About the Role**

As a **Digital Media Coordinator,** you will:

- Develop engaging, youth-centered content (graphics, videos, captions) for **Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and TikTok**.
- Maintain a consistent posting schedule and actively engage with online communities.
- Track and **report on social media analytics**, providing insights to improve reach and impact.
- Conduct** regular website updates** and implement SEO best practices to improve visibility.
- Create marketing materials (flyers, reports, digital assets) in alignment with brand guidelines, as needed.
- Work in partnership with the Fund Development team on **annual giving** and fundraising initiatives, including Pride, year-end and donor acquisition campaigns.
- Support collaboration with influencers, community partners, and stakeholders to amplify campaigns.
- Assist in the creation of **press releases, media kits, and outreach materials**.

**What You Bring**
- **1-2 years** of experience in **digital marketing, social media management, or communications**.
- Proficiency in **Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or other design tools**.
- Experience with **social media scheduling platforms (e.g., Hootsuite, Later) and analytics tools**.
- Strong copywriting, video editing, and content creation skills.
- Familiarity with website management platforms (e.g., **WordPress, Weebly**).
- Passion for **2SLGBTQIA+ advocacy** and inclusive storytelling.
