**Position Overview**:
A Finishing Truck Driver’s main responsibilities is to operate company trucks in a safe, efficient, and professional manner while delivering Finishing & Mouldings to residential, commercial and/or industrial customers’ work sites.

**Principal Responsibilities**:

- Assisting the Swamper with loading and unloading orders according to sales invoices with the ability to lift and carry heavy merchandise exceeding 50 lbs. on a regular basis; i.e. Doors, windows, mouldings.
- Providing customer service to delivery customers, along with customers in the yard;
- Maintain cell and/or radio contact with Finishing department throughout the day to receive instructions;
- Process truck logs and record of materials/ supplies transported, along with other required paperwork;
- Conduct pre-trip truck inspections to maintain truck is operating properly and notifying management for any required repairs or maintenance;
- Flexible to work shifts with early mornings, overtime and Saturdays, as required; and
- Other duties and tasks as assigned.

**Knowledge Skills and Abilities Required**:

- Valid Class 5 Drivers License; Knowledge of principles and practices of city & highway safety;
- Strong written and/or oral communication skills;
- Ability to lift and carry over 55 pounds up to 150 feet; Ability to pull up to 20 pounds of force when tightening straps with ratchet lever, with full range of shoulder motion;
- Ability to climb in and out of truck cabs several times daily, along with climbing onto truck beds to secure and/or check loads;
- Must be able to work up to 8 hours a day, 5 days per week including Saturdays as required.
- Overtime may also be a requirement from time to time.
- Must have a positive attitude and able to handle difficult situations professionally.

**Working Conditions**:

- Subject to weather extremes: Hot, cold, snow, rain, wind
- Flexibility required to accommodate operational demands

**Salary**: $24.00-$27.00 per hour
